About Me
Hi,
My name is Yvonne. I’ve been microblading since 2018. I’m originally from St. Louis, MO and have been living in Los Angeles, CA for 10 years. It’s been a roller coaster journey and what has lead me to be where I am today with my business and as a new mommy! I have always loved beauty enhancements that look natural and when I discovered microblading it was calling my name. It’s challenging to do which I enjoy taking on and it is the most natural permanent makeup eyebrow enhancement choice. I feel accomplished after completing sessions to make you feel good about bringing your eyebrows back to life or with any other service I provide such as eyebrow lamination, lash lifts, and saline tattoo removal.
As my clients say - they appreciate my meticulous nature. When I am creating, I’m focused and want to make sure they’re perfect. All of this to say I do my best!
Thanks for reading and hope to meet you soon <3
-Yvonne
WHAT’S MICROBLADING & WHAT TO EXPECT
Microblading is an art of creating hyper-realistic hairlike strokes that are inserted into the eyebrow area with a very thin blade. We’ll go over shape, pigment color and your skin type and you’ll be numbed throughout out the procedure to make you as comfortable as possible. I’ll create strokes that mimic the natural direction of your eyebrow hair, but as my client, you can always tell me the look you desire. We collaborate together to achieve the desired outcome.
The inserted pigment is darker in the first week after microblading is done. Please do not try to pick, scratch or lighten and fade your brows yourself because this will affect the healed outcome. They will lose the dark intensity after about a week resulting in a softer natural look. For how long the pigment will be retained mostly depends on your after care and your skins oiliness you can find my aftercare guide here.
Your new microbladed brows will on average last 1-3 years after your touch up session. Touch ups are done 8 weeks after your first session. Thereafter, it is suggested to refresh them once a year to maintain color, shape and detail. Oilier skin usually is refreshed more often, possibly every 6-8 months but this is a case by case basis. Remember, everyone has different skin types and can heal at different rates, but don’t worry because I can always asses color retention and make adjustments as necessary at your next visit.
